Ode to Fashion

Ah fashion, how you tease and tantalise the taste buds of everyone that's involved. You know no boundaries and always challenge us to rethink the form and shape the fabric takes on a form e. Comme de Garcons 1997 Spring/Summer collection. We try to make clothes a true art form and defy it's wearability e.g Leigh Bowery. Somehow we cannot break from the passion we have to see the outcome of the chaos in our minds come to reality on the dress form but it is what drives us. Whether it's a beautiful print or a structured masterpiece, or whimsical femininty marching down the runway you make each season worth looking forward to. New creations, ideas manifested and portrayed in the contained chaos that is an ensemble. I can never grow bored of you.

Semester 2 has ended

Woot Woot. I could scream to the top of my lungs in joy I feel like a weight has been lifted. Now onto the next round. Forgot to take pics but got some good reviews in Assessment last night "Yay me!" Of course improvements can always be made but I got the job done. Will take some pics on my phone and put them up.

It sometimes feels like we're ants droning on in life trying our best to live our dreams and fulfil them as soon in our lives as possible. Pursuing any career is like a rat race and everyone wants to be in the lead but there comes a time when you have to stop and really analyse your surroundings and the way you act to stay at the top. Have you compromised yourself so much that you've lost yourself completely? Is it worth it? Life is so short as it is and   no time to really take in the present. You have to weigh the options of what will you regret more; "not having the career of your dreams?" or "missing what life really is about?"
