End of Semester 2

Hey guys, had assessment yesterday have yet to know if I have succeeded onto the next but we shall see. It was nerve racking to wait for my turn to stand before the panel of teachers to hear their critiques. It's a funny situation though; to be judged like that especially when they may not know you at all and the remarks can be harsh, but it's the business you signed up for right? I feel so drained but still hopeful and still have that untarnished love for fashion. I may lack in the sewing skills but I do believe that if my job were soley to design I'd be ok. It will take time and practice and a lot of it, I don't know if I'll ever reach there but I am going to try. My fate at school may lye in the hands of others but my future otherwise is in God's and He has never let me down.

So sorry that I didn't take pics of my corset and other dress on the mannequin but I'll take flat pics and put them up.

Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Wedding

After all the hype on the dress Bella wore two; one in her dream and on in the actual wedding. The actual wedding dress had a killer back with lace covered plunge ahhh, beautiful as I do love a show stopper back on a dress. Her shoes were beautiful as well I think they were Manolo Blahnik in collaboration with Carolina for this particular movie.

Last day of the Semester

Woot woot, I can take a breather now ahhhh. Still have assessment but it's in a week and a few days. Today our class presented their knit dresses so I took a few pics on my pone

Haven't blogged lately because I'm in the crunch of end of semester projects etc. So when it's over I'll be writing a few articles. So see you then.

Breaking Dawn

As you can see below I put up The Breaking Dawn trailer, yeah yeah I know there's a lot of debate to whether or not it's even worthy to watch or if it's the best movie of the year. I refuse to side with either. However I can't wait to see the costumes and fashion aspect of the film as this movie is supposed to be showing Bella in a Carolina Herrera gown and I'm not sure about the bridal party but I think that in itself is worthy watching.
